I have a new love for taking pictures of flowers and trees and things.
Lately it has been reminding me of Ecclesiastes 3 verse 11 where it says, “He makes all things beautiful in His time.”
It also makes me think about the next half of the same verse 11, “Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
When I’m walking and I look in wonderment at the beautiful colours and shapes (sometimes I just stand for a couple of minutes watching the bees and flies buzz around or settle into flowers beds), I remember that I could come back the next day and it could be raining or snowing, and those same colours, bees and shapes could be gone. Flowers die but, with each season they gradually spring up again. It’s all part of their life cycle. I have no idea why or how and that’s why Ecclesiastes 3:11 resonates with me even more.
